Vorige week lekte door een fout van Sony al uit dat Sony de Alpha reeks uit zou breiden met de 230, 330 en 380. Inmiddels heeft Sony deze camera's officieel bevestigd. De camera's zijn wat kleiner en lichter dan hun voorgangers, maar zijn qua specificaties te vergelijken met de oudere modellen. Wel beschikken de camera's over een HDMI-uitgang en zullen de menu's er anders uitzien. Hieronder staan de specificaties per camera onder elkaar.
